2017 re-opening
The El Oceano 2017 Season Starts Thursday the 30th of March
We’ve been busy ironing the pillowcases and polishing the silver, in readiness for the Costa del Sol event of the year! Your favourite El Oceano luxury beach hotel and superb restaurant will re-open for the 2017 season on Thursday the 30th of March.
If you are an El Oceano regular, it will be everything you already know – but better!
If you’ve yet to visit us, we think you’re in for a real treat! Our ’boutique’ hotel is one of the most popular on the Costa del Sol. Whether a guest in the hotel, in our exquisite restaurant, or on the terraces and sunbed decks around the pool bar, we make sure your stay is just perfect in every detail. The El Oceano team are very highly regarded and very frequently praised by many of our loyal guests. From the moment you arrive and are greeted by Ignacio at the front door, you will immediately see the level of courteousness, professionalism and helpfulness applied by our entire team. Thursday 30th: Re-Opening Party!
The restaurant is looking very busy in the evening but – as of the middle of March – there’s still some availability for lunch or dinner. Hotel has some availability, though! Good rates on off-season rooms, suites & penthouses! Throughout April! Speak to us!
Friday 31st: Availability but booking advised, hotel or restaurant.

Saturday 1st: Limited availability and booking advised, hotel or restaurant.
Sunday 2nd: Sunday Lunch.
The first Sunday of the season is almost full. I think I can see just one table over there in the quiet corner, by the window. Seriously though, if you haven’t already booked, you may be out of luck. Please try though!
Monday 3rd to Friday 7th: Some availability but booking advised, hotel or restaurant.
Saturday 8th: The Grand National.
NOW CONFIRMED: ‘The Overtones’ live music entertainment!! An afternoon not to be missed. Racing shown live on big screens plus fabulous 3-course menu with welcome bubbly on arrival, only 49€ per person (including taxes). Book now!
Sunday 9th: FULLY BOOKED.

Tuesday 11th: The first of the Full Moon Gala Dinners with Quike Navarro!
We’re joined by the amazing Quike Navarro on his electric violin! Always a great night with Quike! Book now!

Sunday 16th: Easter Sunday – FULLY BOOKED
Monday 17th: Easter Monday, Masquerade Duo
A highly recommended, funky, lively act, just the thing for a fantastic Easter Monday night at El Oceano!!

Saturday 8th April: The Grand National.
It’s a great day, no doubt about that. An excuse to get dressed up and feel a little special, Grand National race day at El Oceano always brings a great crowd.
Watch the racing live on big screens around the restaurant plus a typically fabulous 3-course menu with welcome bubbly on arrival, only 50€ per person (including taxes).
Tuesday 11th April: The first of the Full Moon Gala Dinners
The full moon reflecting off the Mediterranean Sea is one of the most beautiful sights you’ll see on the Costa del Sol. The shimmering reflections on the waves with a warm sea breeze make the perfect dining experience. Choose to eat inside or outside on the terrace, El Oceano will guarantee you one of the best ‘seats in the house’ for the stunning full moon evenings!
Sunday 16th April (Easter Sunday):
Easter is always a busy time of year at El Oceano and our many regular guests book well in advance for the Easter Sunday dining event.
Our Sunday Lunches have gained some significant reputation here on Mijas Costa and we’re happy to say that there are often waiting lists for our Sundays. Only the best quality ingredients, freshly sourced, local where possible, including a traditional ‘English’ Sunday Roast, plus many other options.
Every Sunday offers you our full a la carte menu, plus our special Sunday Menu.
Monday 17th (Easter Monday): Masquerade Duo
A fantastic guitar and vocal duo! “An outlandishly talented act, who deliver their payload with a thump!” Singing and playing a wide range of music, right up to modern day, this is one act that you, most certainly, do not want to miss!
Based in Marbella, The Masquerade Duo have performed all over Europe and the Middle East. A highly recommended, funky, lively act, just the thing for a great noght at El Oceano Beach Hotel.
