Gary’s words on appearing on The Voice… “I’m a university teacher at the London Centre of Contemporary Music. I teach Music Harmony and Vocal Technique, so it’s strange getting feedback from the coaches – normally it’s me dishing it out! I was signed to a singles deal on an indie label when I was 20, and released a single called ‘He Won’t Love’ but nothing really came of it. I went on to play in other bands such as D’influence. We played Wembley and supported Prince and Michael Jackson. That was amazing, and here I am now on The Voice – it’s a new and exciting time in my career”
