Ana Íñiguez Arcos (Annya Electric Violin) is originally from Tudela (Navarra), where she trained in the specialty of violin at the Fernando Remacha Conservatory. Belén Estage is also from her hometown, a violinist who was part of Enrique Bunbury’s band, and from which she received classes. Thanks to this influence, Ana began to discover other musical styles outside of classical music where she could introduce the sound of the violin.
In 2005 she moved to Salamanca, where she began her history studies at USAL. It was there that she acquired her first electric violin with which she began to experiment with other sounds.
In 2009 she moved to Granada where she studied Musical Teaching at the UGR. In 2011 she left for Erasmus in Germany where she continues to study at the University of Potsdam. On her return she participated in various conferences related to the musical field as a speaker. It is worth highlighting her intervention in the II Herpano-German Congress of Music and Music Education: Towards a Real European Convergence.
Throughout these years she played in different formations and bands of different musical styles, such as the Folk-rock group Morrigane, or accompanying José Antonio García (vocalist of the Granada group 091) on her acoustic tour, among others.
From 2012 to 2014 Annya met with other musicians forming the Turangalila Association, to found the Monachil Music School (Granada) with the support of the local City Council. During this period she combines teaching at school with participation as an instrumentalist, both live and in study of the different projects of which she was part.
After her time in teaching, she began to dedicate herself exclusively to live performances. It is at this point where she has her first contact with House music. He becomes part of a musical quartet along with another violinist, a singer and the renowned DJ Claudia Tejeda (owner of Clover Records), with whom he plays in different renowned venues in Andalusia (for example the Sala Antique in Seville)
In mid-2015 she left the project to focus on her solo career. She moved to Marbella and began to work as a resident at the legendary Joys Live in Puerto Banús, under the guidance of Paul Maxwell. From there, her work volume increases exponentially, establishing herself as one of the most important violinists on the Costa del Sol. Since then, to date she has played in innumerable venues, festivals, bech clubs, etc. throughout the national territory. It is worth highlighting Nikki Beach Marbella, Waikiki in Fuerteventura, the Holi Colors Festival in the La Malagueta bullring, the I Geiko Málaga Fashion Show or in the Palacio de la Bolsa Building in Madrid. She has also had the pleasure of playing with renowned musicians and DJs such as Carlos Jean, Lucercia, Dr. Kucho, Pablo Melgar, Quike Navarro, Roberto Cantero or Aurelio Vargas, among others.
Annya has performed her performance for private events in different countries such as England, Germany, Ireland, Denmark or Morocco.
Today she remains one of the most sought-after musicians in the area and continues to increase her volume of work day after day. She has also started a new show with electric guitarist Pelu Sánchez called Imploxion, which is having a great acceptance.
